"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will -- to your surprise -- miss them profoundly."

We'll Keep Her

We were at the zoo today and Chloe asked me, "Are we going to keep Olivia when we go back to our house?" I thought it was so cute.

She is 11 months old today. We went to get her weighed. She weighs 18 lbs, 1 oz and is 28 inches long. According to the charts there, that is the 10th percentile for weight and the 90th for height. I can't believe she will be a year old in a month's time.

She is trying to walk. She took one step on her own to get from the window to the couch.

She can fold her arms at prayer time. It is so adorable.

She has 5 teeth and I believe another one on the way.

She loves the trampoline, and giggles and giggles as I hold her and the older girls jump around her.

She loves my sister's dog, Tacoma, a small Yorkshire Terrier. She squeals with delight whenever he comes around, tries to say "doggy", mimics his noises, and pokes and prods him as if he is a stuffed animal.

We've had no access to our computer for the last 3 weeks, and so, I have not been able to blog or post photos for a long time. A lot has been going on. Izzy finishing grade one, finishing soccer, finishing piano and doing a fantastic job at her recital. Lily and Chloe finishing up their gymnastics and craft class. Summer beginning, riding bikes, going swimming a lot, getting good use out of our Zoo and Calaway Park passes, and just enjoying the outside.

Photos soon to come!
