"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will -- to your surprise -- miss them profoundly."

Canada Day 2011

We celebrated Canada Day at the church where there was a bouncy castle, cotton candy, hot dogs, pop, cake, face painting, crafts, and musical entertainment. Even Mayor Nenshi was there to give a little speech. Isabelle was so excited about that.

As you can see, the crowd was big! Here we are with our friends the Wilsons, waiting in line for the bouncy castle:

Chloe got her face painted as a cat, Lily got a maple leaf, and Isabelle got a Canada flag. Even Olivia wanted her face painted. She got a little flower:

They had this cute photo booth thing. Here are Ben and Olivia:

Afterwards, we decided to go to Okotoks for the fireworks:

I cropped the next series of pictures, just because I love the face Chloe is making. She LOVED the fireworks:

Happy Canada Day!
