Chloe is 8! She is so happy to be 8 and to be baptized next weekend. We love Chloe and her sweet personality. We are so glad she is our daughter and is in our lives. She truly makes our world a better place.
She LOVES Star Wars, but more specifically, she LOVES R2D2. So naturally, she requested a Stars Wars party with an R2D2 cake. Thank you Aunt Jessica for loaning us the cake pan!
It didn't turn out too shabby! Chloe loved it and that's all that is important :)
These were the invitations we printed ourselves and sent out. I love Pic Monkey and Costco photo center. I think these cost me a whopping $1.50 to print out!
Going along with the Stars Wars theme...
I took a picture of her Stars Wars lego characters to use in the picture.
We put Wookie Cookies, Yoda Soda, and Leia Buns in the R2D2 goody bags for the guests. Those are some of Chloe's favourite characters.
Her gifts ready to wake up to....just like Christmas haha
Chloe ALWAYS asks us to buy Toblerone chocolate bars for her and we never do, so this year instead of a special balloon to wake up to, we let her wake up to a Toblerone!
She loved it! Chloe was lucky this year that her birthday fell on a PD Day at school! No school! The girls have been wanting to try out Launchpad Trampoline Park forever, and so this was the perfect opportunity for us to try it out and have a party at the same time.
It did not disappoint!
I was happy to report no broken bones or serious injuries! We have heard of and know so many people who have hurt themselves here, including a little child in our primary!
Wall to wall trampolines, foam pits, dodge ball arena, climbing ladders...... the kids had a ton of fun, and it tired them right out. Great way to burn off some energy!
This little monkey made it all the way to the top with ease! Izzy tried it out and flipped right over right away, which is what would happen if I tried it out!
Cake time
Chloe loved all her gifts! She got a lot of Stars Wars stuff, lucky her!
She LOVED the Instax Mini 8 from Nana and Grandpa! Her own little polaroid style camera. Izzy wants one of these so badly!
We let her have a friend come over after the party and play for a while, and then we had breakfast for dinner! Waffles with whip cream and sausages, one of Chloe's favorite meals!
And now this is what she is looking forward to next!
We love the beautiful girl Chloe is blossoming into. She is so intelligent, creative, fun, friendly, and cheerful. She is quiet, thoughtful, and talented. She is a little athlete and loves to run, climb, twist and bend! After dinner, we went to the church for FHE and played basketball as a family, and she was so happy that she scored 12 baskets! On the 10 ft hoops! She is loving sister, and is a best friend and close confidant to all 3 of them. We are all lucky to have Chloe in our home. Happy birthday dearest Chloe! We love you so much!
