"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will -- to your surprise -- miss them profoundly."

--Thomas S. Monson, 2009

We are enjoying the weather lately, when it is not raining. The girls love taking Lily to the bus everyday.

Today we got the little wading pool and sprinkler out. The girls had a lot of fun with them in our little backyard. They actually played with them all day, off and on. It was nice.

Lily thinks this picture is hilarious because it looks like she has no arms. From that point of view, it is pretty funny.

No matter how hot it is, that first touch of water is always startling...

F says "ffff" and H says "ha" by Olivia

Olivia loves that toy we have on the fridge. The "H" video was taken a few months before the "F" one. Excuse messy house in the background!

The Girls Irish Dance

Here is a video of Izzy and Lily's Irish dance recital from way back in December that I finally figured out how to upload. It is a little long which is why it wouldn't upload the traditional way, but it is fun to watch all of the kicking, skipping, and jumping. They actually improved quite a bit in the last 4 or 5 months. They had to miss the year end recital, so it was fun for us to watch this old clip. They really enjoyed Irish dance this year, and was sad for it to come to an end.

Click HERE to see some of their piano playing I finally uploaded on an old Christmas post! Their year end recital is coming up, so stay tuned!

Lily Lost Her First Tooth!

This tooth has been wiggly for a few weeks now. She was so happy it finally came out!

She also gave a talk today in Primary last minute. She did great! She wrote and read it all by herself. It was about the scriptures.

This Is How Olivia Says...

Izzy --- "Eazy" she says this all the time! And sometimes calls the other girls it too
Chloe --- "Cow cow" I think she is trying to say Chlo Chlo
Lily --- "Yaya" she doesn't say this one much, but I have heard her a few times

Lately she loves to point to herself and say, "I da baby!" meaning, I'm the baby. The older girls taught her Justin Bieber's "Baby Baby Baby Oh!" song and she will try to sing it by saying, "baby oh baby oh baby oh!"

We listen to the "I love to eat eat eat apples and bananas" song in the van, and she'll try to sing along saying, "eat eat eat", but it is really fast for her. She does a pretty good job though!

She is really trying to just speak like everyone else. It is so fun to hear and so cute.

Lily's Work

Lily brought this home from school today. I was so impressed with her printing and attempt at spelling. Not too shabby for a little girl in kindergarten. It reads, "It is a picture of me picking up garbage." I love it!

Spring Has Sprung

It is definitely feeling like spring these last few days. The girls are loving playing in the out of doors sans the jackets.

Who needs a door when you can climb through the window?

Izzy loves playing with her new rollerblades. Today she met another little girl who was also 8 years old, playing with her rollerblades too, just in front of our house. She went out and joined her.

Here she is on her way back in:

Having fun with new umbrellas:
