These "Bubble Sweaters" are SO popular at the girls' school and have been since we moved here, about 3 years ago! They are quite cute, very soft, and come in every color of the rainbow, so I can see how they appeal to little girls. The girls have been asking for them forever, but I could never find them. Finally I found them in a little shop, Triple Flip, but they were really expensive. We learned that they are actually made here in Calgary, and so of course they are going to cost more than hoodies made overseas in a sweatshop. But we ended up finding other ones sold at a different store for much less, yet they look just as cute.
The real name of these coats are, "Minky Dimple Kangaroo Jackets," but all the kids call them bubble sweaters because of the bubble looking dots on the fabric (and because it is much easier to say!) The minky dimple fabric is sold at Fabricland, but it is even expensive there.
The ones sold at this store also have the very desirable thumb holes, where the kids stick their thumbs through on the sleeve. The ones at Triple Flip don't all have thumb holes, so the girls are happy we found this other store.

Izzy and Lily were really happy to get them for their birthdays. Chloe and Olivia were so happy to get them too. They all got their favorite color. They all have been wearing them non stop since they got them. We love to treat the girls and give them something they really want, every now and then!
