Gwenn and Dennis rented out a cabin in Turtle Lake Saskatchewan for a chunk of the summer, and asked their kids and grandkids to come join them at different times. We went out for about a week. We had a great time. It was my first time going to Saskatchewan...it is a lovely place indeed!

| So this was the upstairs of the cabin. It had 2 giant rooms, each room holding a queen bed and 2 twin beds. The main floor had a master room with a queen bed, and another bedroom with a bunkbed (twin over queen) in it. SO MANY BEDS! And space. The perfect little cottage for a big family. Dennis and Gwenn had room for everyone when they came! It was decorated so nicely too. So cozy and charming. |

| There's a sliding door right beside that chair that leads to a little bathroom. We brought sleeping bags for the kids to sleep in so there would be less laundry to do at the end! I love how Izzy is reading her scriptures here. |

| Ben and I had this room all to oursleves. That queen bed was so comfy. The other two twin beds just stayed empty. |

| The water was amazingly warm...and shallow! Out in the middle of the lake, Ben fell off the wakeboard and he could touch the ground! It was nice in comparison to freezing Lake Summerside. |

| The owners also had a SUP, a bunch of kayaks, and a peddle boat. The kids had tonnes to do every day, and our little beach was practically empty every day! |

| They had fun collecting snails. We didn't see any turtles! Apparently there is a myth that a giant turtle lives at the bottom of the lake.... |

| We walked the 2 min a couple of times to the local shop for the ice cream they had there. 2 scoops for 2 dollars. |
