"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will -- to your surprise -- miss them profoundly."
Our Primary children have been working SO hard on memorizing the Articles of Faith. I am so impressed each week with what they have been working on. There is one boy who recites them to me speaking and also in American Sign Language. Impressive eh? There is this other boy, whose family is fairly new to the church . When we first announced to the children we were going to have them memorize Articles of Faith, he was so discouraged and said to me, "I won't be getting my card punched or getting any candy because I don't know any of those." I tried to be as encouraging as possible and said, "Don't worry, you can practice them lots with your family at home, and you can listen to the songs and learn them that way, don't worry you'll be able to learn them!" And I am so happy because since then he has memorized SEVERAL of them! It is truly a blessing being in the Primary and around all those sweet children and their sweet spirits. I love them all so much!
My own children have been working hard on them too! Here are some videos I have taken over the last few months of them. They are so adorable I wanted to record them.
Chloe was too shy to recite an Article of Faith and so I have this video of her singing the Popcorn Song instead:
I was going through videos and so I wanted to post some other random ones I loved too:
Here is Chloe reciting a poem her class memorized for Mother's Day in Spanish:
Here are a couple videos of me with the girls before bed. One was taken a few years ago, and the other just this past winter. This is part of our nightly routine....Singing! They love to sing songs before bed together. And really, so do I!
And then, I stumbled upon this gem of a video and I couldn't resist posting it! Lily and Chloe are practically babies here! I believe they are ages 3 and 1. So cute and precious. Oh how time flies.

"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."
