"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will -- to your surprise -- miss them profoundly."

--Thomas S. Monson, 2009

Mother's Day 2013 (May)

Mother's Day was wonderful this year.  The day started with some wonderful, sweet gifts from my children:

Church was great too.  We had the Primary children make a nice little craft for their mothers to take home.

After church we went down by the River Valley and went for a nice long walk.  These pictures make it seem like it was so cold out, but it was a very nice day.

This is a typical sight of Lily, doing a cartwheel:

We decided to check out the new sculpture off the Whitemud.  Some people have called these "Snowman Poop."  They are very beautiful, but a little odd.  There was a little space the girls could climb inside of it.  The sculpture is hollow.

Piggy backs:

It was very windy out and so when we got home we decided to go out and fly some kites for a while:

It was a great Mother's Day!
