"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will -- to your surprise -- miss them profoundly."

Spring Break Fun

We just stayed here in Edmonton for Spring Break this year.  It was nice to have no schedules and just time to be together.  Ben was able to take the Thursday and Friday off work to be with us.

We had fun skating at Terwillegar for free, making lot of fun crafts, playing endless board games, watching movies, going for walks, and just relaxing!  We also took the girls to go see The Muppets with some free movie tickets Ben won, and also to Menchies for the first time!  It is a fun little fro-yo place, but a little pricey, so it'll have to be one of those "once in a while" things.  The girls had a blast picking from all the different kinds of frozen yogurt and sorbet and then choosing the toppings. We also went to the Seal Show at WEM, and to the sea life caverns.  Olivia wanted the seal to give her a kiss at the end!  She loved it.

Olivia had REAL skates on for the first time.  She usually just wears bob skates.  She did pretty well and was happy they didn't keep slipping off all the time like the bob skates.

Menchies -- the girls new favorite

Olivia started swimming lessons during the day.  She is doing great in her Salamander class.
