"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will -- to your surprise -- miss them profoundly."

Elf on the Shelf

So here is the post of the other elf on the shelf set ups we did for the kids.  We let each child take a turn helping us, because none of them actually believe in the elf, but they still wanted to play the game. Sure, why not?  I will admit there were a few times we completely forgot about it! Oh well.  It is cute and fun, but next year we may just do the 12 days before Christmas instead of the entire month haha.

Chloe loved to help me set up Thibble in her bath! A bubbly bath of marshmallows

Olivia's idea was to put her in the tree and see if anyone could find her in the morning!  Everyone had a hard time finding her.

And here are our other ideas:

With her boyfriend

In the freezer, helps her remember the North Pole

This was the girl's reactions to finding her that morning.  I wish I could have got more pictures of THAT.  Their reactions some days were priceless.

Sneaking some M+M's

Trying on Barbie's clothes

Dressing up as a neighbor gift

Part of the Nativity

Playing the piano

In the fridge.  This was one of those last minute we-forgot-about-it nights haha!

In the light fixture.  It took the girls FOREVER to find it that morning.

Kid napped by the Lalaloopsies!

Ben did this one!  Of course he comes up with potty humor names.  Needless to say the girls LOVED this one.  We woke up to laughter that morning.

Snow angels in the flour.  I did it on a plate for easy clean up, haha!
